'Cellular breath'
‘Cellular breath’- I sometimes use scribbles and doodles to gain access into the subconscious. I begin with a line or mark and allow it to go where it wants to go – within that shape I might find a suggestion of a theme or just see where it will take me.
‘… scribbles & doodling allow space for creative things to happen - acting as a place for creative thought to emerge untrammelled’ - like a spare room where all kinds of things get dumped – every now and then something of value is retrieved’.
